*Step 1: Clean Up – Remove critical risk trees, prune dead, diseased, or unsafe branches.
*Step 2: Prepare – Fertilize trees and shrubs (part of your normal annual program), mulch trees and shrubs as appropriate, and cable or brace weak limbs to prepare for severe weather.
*Step 3: Plant & Water – Plant new trees and shrubs and water evergreens.
*Step 4: Inspect – look for insects and diseases, and treat them appropriately.
